Venus Flytrap - Great Plant for Kids

If you are looking for a interesting plant that your children will want to take care of,  you can't beat the venus flytrap.  Everything about this plant will be interesting to your children.  After all, who wouldn't be interested in a plant that eats bugs?

Although some people think that the venus flytrap plant is hard to grow, that is not necessarily true.  As long as you make yourself familiar with the basics of venus flytrap care, you should be fine.  This is not like a regular plant.  You do not need to fertilize it, you do not plant it in soil, etc.

It is unusual and interesting in all aspects, including it's care.

Be sure that your children do not disturb the traps when it is not necessary.  This can kill the plant.
